It's crazy good.
New Year Movie Marathon List上。十大位居第6的《Silver Linings Playbook》,Mike说它是best romance movie since Titanic。
Leave it to wild-man director David O. Russell to raise the bar to romantic comedy with this jagged love story between two emotional basket cases, played by a never-better Bradley Cooper and a hot-damn-she's-fine Jennifer Lawrence. It's crazy good.
Movies of the Year, by Peter Travers, Rolling Stone:
1. The Master
2. Zero Dark Thirty
3. Beasts of the Southern Wild
4. Lincoln
5. Argo
6. Silver Linings Playbook
7. Life of Pi
8. Les Miserables
9. Moonrise Kingdom
10. The Dark Knight Rises

“That diploma, when you try to close a deal with someone, means just that much more. When you are trying to convince someone to an idea, concept, something new, that piece of paper will just mean that much more. And people will judge you, and will doubt you that much less. That is reality, and it has been hard for me.”
---Nicholas Tse

HBS, Honululu Buddhism School.

In the new era, I hope I can use Internet and Weibo freely. I hope the false charge against me can be clarified through [an] independent judicial process. I hope I won’t be followed, silenced and disappeared. I hope my family and friends won’t be threatened. If possible, please return my passport, which enables me to communicate, exhibit my work and travel freely. Is my expectation for the new era too luxurious?
To Ai Wewei, you make so much money from so much mediocre art, like those silly statues of the twelve Chinese animal birthday signs that were up last year at 59th Street here in NYC. I am really sad for you that you cannot use the internet the way you want but all of your comments here are so self interested with "I" and "me" all over the place that one would think that you are the only artist with travails in all of China!

“The danger for next year is not that the deficit will be too large but that it will be too small, and hence plunge America back into recession.” --Paul Krugman

“United States has better relations with each of the major
countries in Asia than any of them have with each other."

“But then CBS announced that it had cast Lucy Liu as Watson in the new Holmes show Elementary. I was ... conflicted.”

He has never gone.

I would run to you
Inspired by the Nike commercial. Long for those shoes! Hope they could motivate me to run.
Trivia: The ad was created by Portland, Ore.-based agency Wieden + Kennedy. The ad was shot in three cities and five states across 11 days, according to the agency website.
The girl in the ad is Stephanie Lynn. She is a singer/actress originally from Vermont.
“I Would Run to You” Lyrics:
Woman: You’re so far away.
Man: You’re so far away.
W: Ain’t got too much pride.
M: Want you back by my side.
W: Well baby I want that too.
M: And baby I would run, run to you.
W: I would run to you.
M: I would run to you.
W: The first time you talked to me.
M: I knew we were meant to be.
W: And when we finally embraced.
M: Baby, I can’t keep this pace.
W: I love you. There I said it.
M: I think I’m gonna need a medic.
W: You filled the hall with flower petals.
M: Why does my mouth taste like metal?
W: Baby I might die without you.
M: Baby, I might die.
W: I would run to you.
M: I’m not as strong as you.
W: I would run to you.
M: I (unintelligible heavy breathing) to you.
W: Love is a speeding comet.
M: I’m in a pool of my own vomit.
W: Love is a perfect vision.
M: This was such a bad decision.
W: Love makes everything serene.
M: Give me all of your morphine.
M: (Spoken)
Baby, I know we said we’d run across the country to be together, but I thought we were being symbolic. Why can’t we fly, and meet somewhere in the middle? Like Kansas City? It’s the Paris of the Plains…
W: Baby I love you so much that I would run to you.
M: You would run to me? You would run to me!
W: Baby I love you so much that I would run to you.
Together: I (you) would run to you (me).

Salt Pond Bay,one of the best snorkeling places on the island。

Nothing feels better when you are on a boat cruising on the Caribbean while your co-workers are laboring in office.

Somebody that I used to know
